Day 9: Todays exercise was scary...literally! The point of it is to think of an activity that will be fresh and exciting for both of you and maybe even a little bit scary. Get your adrenaline pumping! Here are some examples you could do: white water rafting, hang gliding, sky diving, bungee jumping, go kart racing, jet skiing or snow skiing, kayaking, indoor rock climbing, hiking, rollerblading, ice skating, playing paintball or laser tag, horseback riding or even visiting an amusement park. We decided to go to the fair (no kids and no grandkids with us)! We rode a couple of rides that I actually thought I might not survive on. Afterwards, it was such an adrenaline rush even with our shaky legs and all.
The night time exercise consisted of keeping that rush going. We watched a scary movie together which is something I NEVER do! I forced myself to keep my eyes open when someone was slowly creeping upon others but did scream a couple of times. I even caught myself talking to the tv telling them to turn around...yeah, really nutty but I was totally into being scared. The result of all this adrenaline was an amazing night!
