K-Y Brand Intimacy Experiment Review and Giveaway (2 Winners) Day 4

We are at Day 4 now with our K-Y Brand Intimacy Experiment. Today's exercise consisted of removing obstacles to create a smokin' sex life. I know I was guilty of a few of the things below:

• Sleep with kids or pets in your bed or bedroom
• Have (and use) a television, computer or smartphone in your bedroom
• Spend your evenings surfing the internet, emailing, visiting social networking sites or playing computer games.
• Bring your cell or smartphone on "Date Nights" or spend time texting or playing with your phone in your partner's presence
• Leave the door open while in the bedroom.
• Perform personal grooming habits (flossing your teeth, clipping your nails, etc.) in front of your partner.
• Sometimes skip basic hygiene (bathing, brushing your teeth, shaving, etc.) because you're too tired, lazy or think your partner doesn't care. 

I know I definately did not do this stuff when we first got together. Now, it's just comfy. Too comfy for a great sex life! I would never floss or clip my toenails in front of him before! 

For the Night exercise it was a totally different experience. It was all about stripping down and going about your house in the nude. My hubby loved this! I on the other hand, had to have a couple glasses of wine before I was completely nude. Hey!!! I'm 46 and things aren't where they used to be and other things (tummy) has grown. Well, after my wine I felt more comfortable about it. The end of the evening we gave each other massages (head to toe) and showered together. 

It is very strange that I now clip my toenails in front of him but feel shy in the light of day naked. That's somehow twisted don't ya think? I have made a mental note of stopping the toenail clipping and other such things...I am trying instead to act the way I would have when we first got together. I'm TRYING to forget that my body doesn't look like it did all those years ago and instead remember the way he looks at me when I do prance around nude!
